Documentary Evidence

The verso speaks directly.

The reverse bears an inscription identifying the work as a boceto para la figura de la mujer del mural “Liberación”, together with a Camarena-form inscription and the date 1963.

The inscription is documentary evidence within the object. Its authorship and relationship to the painting remain subjects for scholarly and technical review.

Signature

A stylized signature is visible at the lower right of the painted surface.

High-resolution documentation permits comparison of letterforms, placement, paint handling and surface relationship without treating visual similarity alone as authentication.

Creation

Camarena and Liberación

Archival imagery places the artist with the mural during its realization, giving the object study a documented working context rather than a purely stylistic one.

Research reproduction. Final public use subject to source credit and rights review.

July 1963

Completion and inauguration

The chronology converges in 1963: the mural's completion, the painting's verso date, and the public inauguration of Liberación at the Palacio de Bellas Artes.

The chronology is significant contextual evidence, but it is not by itself proof of authorship.
